Japanese Yum Yum Sauce

  • Yield: About 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 cups of sauce 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain, nonfat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup ketchup or chili sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/41/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 14 teaspoons Sriracha hot sauce (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
  2. Use as a sauce for sushi or a dipping sauce for steak, chicken, fish or veggies or as a sandwich or burger spread.

Notes

The sauce is delicious right away, but even better after it has been refrigerated for a couple hours.
